Q. What is the difference between a buttonhole and a corsage?
A buttonhole usually refers to a single flower worn pinned to the lapel of a suit jacket for men. A ladies buttonhole is just a larger version of a men's buttonhole. It may have one or two more flowers and a bow if required.
A corsage is a formal piece, much larger in size, structured and more elaborate. It has 3 or 4 different types of flowers and a bow if required. It can be worn on a garment or on the wrist using as decorative elasticised band.
